The exhibition has been commissioned by the italian curator Paolo Maistri, ex coordinator of the acclaimed DesignMiami International Fair. You can enjoy rare works as the “Pump It Up” sofa, made from sponge and the acclaimed “Lover’s Chair”, made out of recycled newspaper and iron. Freedom and spontaneity are the basis of his work and this is what has led him to design collections such as “Skin” and “Evolution” which made headlines during the Milan design week. Carbonell was named Designer of the Future at the 2009 DesignMiami/Basel fair. |
