GRANDE COSTANZA - Paolo Rizzatto
Costanza's 20th anniversary and it's getting Grande.
A design icon which has crossed different styles and periods, always invariable in time. Always relevant, modern and elegant.
In 1986 Paolo Rizzato's project revolutionized the lighting world. The traditional typology "abat-jour", which until then foresaw a heavy, immovable base, and a glass or fabric lampshade, reinvents itself with renovated materials.
A simple polycarbonate lampshade, a subtle aluminium stand and a sensor dimmer stick which contribute to the formal reduction of this lighting archetype and realization of a new and balanced portable lightness.
The lamps world acclaim is determined by the oscillation between tradition and technology and it's extraordinary ability to diffuse warm, intimate and captivating light. In the past, Costanza has been used by renowned architects in countless projects.
Costanza is also a lamp which illuminates many homes all over the world, always a natural component in all styles of decoration, from the most modern of homes to the most traditional.
To celebrate its unpresidented success, Luceplan propose new dimensions that have the ability to explain it's grandness.
The same material and the same technology, indisputable signs of avant-garde projects.
Grande Costanza converts visible presence into a portable lightness. It has the ability to decorate spaces with it's simple but rigorous appearance. The lampshade's light is always pleasant, intense and homely, appropriate for illuminating private as well as public areas.
