The orientals use them to pick up small portions of food. In Spanish bars the toothpick is the king of "tapas". Different in shape but similar in their use, they symbolize the itinerary between plate and mouth. Two utensils which are pure, basic, minimal in design and primitive yet modern at the same time.
A coincidence but also an excuse to bring two gastronomic cultures together: Asia and Spain. A new concept that tries to unify Spanish "tapas" philosophy together with Asian tapas gastronomy.
The architecture and interior design is by Jordi Tió, graphic design by América Sánchez. The overall concept of the spaces has been developed by Vinçon.
