Wooden Radio

Star product - Wooden Radio

The Wooden Radio - an eco design by Singgih Susilo Kartono.

Each radio is handcrafted in 16 hours. Each of them is a single piece and has its individual number and date printed in. Made from Sonokeling and pine wood, Kartono and his team only use trees from plantation and care for the re-plantation in their home town, Temanggung - Indonesia. In designing this product, Singgih endeavours to recreate unperfect and uncomplete products through minimizing the unnecessary features. This un-perfectness is a conscious and deliberate creation.

A menu full of ingenious novelties

Camper & Vinçon have united to develop the first casa camper hotel in Barcelona, a simple space with innovate solutions and touch of mediterranean humor.

The hotel is located in the city center in a singular street, in the center of Raval, Barcelona’s historic district.

D & AD Awards Nomination (London). In the graphic design section. The D&AD Awards, better known as the Lápices Amarillos, the most prestigious and well known awards at an international level, given in recognition to the creativity in the design industry and advertising. This year 25.000 pieces of work from all over the world participated and in the jury there were directors from studios like Pentagram, Spin, ShaughnessyWorks, Madethought, The Partners, Alan Dye de Apple.

The jury included Deborah Adler, Milton Glaser, Inc. (New York), Fritz Klaetke, visual dialogue (Boston) Debbie Millman, Sterling Brands (New York).
